Bio

Matthew Nelson is a director, cinematographer and lighting technician based in Bryan–College Station, Texas. He earned his BFA in Film & Television from SCAD in 2024, building his craft on sets around Savannah—camera, lighting, grip and live-event crew. Today he runs BCS Creative, his production company, and founded RigSafe, a line of film grip and set-safety gear. He brings the same care to every frame—whether he's directing, lighting or crewing a day call.
